The Dream

To create an emotional intelligence training centre, offering specialised training for all ages. Drawn from the fields of Neurosciences, Psychology, Neuro-Linguistic-Programming (NLP), Hypnotherapy and Behavioural Sciences, the aim of the eQurious organisation is to spread interest of the unknown potentials of Emotional Intelligence, also referred to as Emotional Quotient (EQ), that lies within each and every one of us. With this in mind we developed a strong identifiable brand that was fun but informative, and could appeal to a wide range of audiences.

 

The Do

We brainstormed a multitude of business names together with the client before landing on ‘eQurious’, which communicates the relationship between a child-like curiosity and emotional intelligence. We played on illustrating curiosity in a visual and identifiable way in the logo, creating a magnifying glass out of the ‘Q’ and used the ‘e’ to symbolise every person. The brands colour palette is mature but fun, using complimentary colours carefully chosen to maintain any gender bias.
