One of our recent finished projects is start-up A Thousand Stories. Daniella came to us with a dream to quit her full-time job as a fashion photographer for the Iconic and shoot unique flatlay photography to tell brand stories. We worked together to bring the dream to life!
Why did you want to start your own business?
I wanted to explore the creative opportunity to work with brands and smaller businesses and labels and tell photographic stories in a way that no one has been doing yet. It's something that doesn’t really exist at the moment.
How did Dream & Do bring the dream to life?
The team helped with honing in on what the brand is about, telling stories visually with beautiful flatlay photography and were able to visualise that with cool branding and developing my website and touchpoint communications.
What's been the biggest challenge so far and what excites you most about the future?
It's been challenging learning the importance of setting the foundations of a business and getting all the initial work and building blocks up and running - it's vital to make sure you’re on a path to success. Also quitting my fulltime job was scary but it's great now! I've had five clients so far in the short time since I've launched and excited to see where the brand goes and the types of clients I will get to work for. The exciting part is the potential engagement with the brand and when companies and businesses start to see and value what it is we can do.
